South County Church of the Nazarene is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow.

Small Groups

Mondays at 1:00 pm, the McClain’s Home
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, SCCN has small bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve. At a time, designated by your group, you can participate in the small group study. For information, contact Kathy McClain.

Coffee fellowship Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the church office
Come join us for a time of fellowship and discipling together. All are invited! For more information, contact Chester Kneer.

Youth & Children

Wednesdays at 6:00 pm at the church

Each Sunday morning, children and teens get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Classes emphasize an awareness of the significant narratives in the Bible. Within the Bible we read of how ordinary people experienced an extraordinary God.  Stories shape us by providing a basis for moral and ethical choices. We also learn how to identify the times and ways God is at work in our lives by learning about the way others have experienced God. For more information, contact Stefanie Conder.

Women’s Group

SCCN Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s group focuses on fun and friendship building activities. We believe getting to know one another is equally important to a healthy Christian community. We do not have a structured meeting time each week, but plan various activities throughout the year; one of our favorites is breakfast and garage saling! For more information, contact Kathy McClain.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

First Saturday of the Month at 7:00 am, Various Restaurants

Driven by great breakfasts, and service projects our men’s ministry is emerging as a force of good within our church.  Far from a closed group, we are always looking for a few good men!
