Dr. Charles Dike

Charles C. Dike (pronounced Dee-Kay), M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist.  He earned his medical degree at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.  He has extensive psychiatric training from residency work done in Birmingham, England, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Yale.  In addition, he has a Masters of Public Health degree, various psychiatric publications and national presentations on pathological lying, PTSD and terrorism.  Dr. Dike is personable, having a great ability to communicate and make those around him feel comfortable.  He is a man who loves God and loves his family.  He attends Church on the Rock in New Haven.


Dr Tim Kearney

Dr. R. Timothy Kearney is a licensed Psychologist who earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, California. He also received a Master's degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. While at Fuller, he wrote a doctoral dissertation studying the history of the integration of psychology and religion. He graduated from Yale University with a BA in the double major of Psychology and Spanish Literature.  His book, “Caring for Sexually Abused Children:  A Handbook for Families and Churches” was published by Intervarsity Press in 2001.


Dr. Kearney has extensive experience working with families, individuals, couples, and children. He has a specialty in working with abused children and adult survivors of incest and domestic violence, and also works with parenting problems, child behavior difficulties, marital conflicts, and other issues of daily living. In addition, he often counsels with bereaved families and those who are terminally ill.  Tim is the Clinical Director at Shoreline Christian Counseling.


Barbara Burgess, LCSW

Barbara Burgess is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master's degree at Fordham University in New York. She also has a Master's of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Maryland, and a Master's of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.


Barbara brings a broad experience in nutrition, health, preventative medicine, administration and counseling to her work with clients. She has expertise in health related issues and a variety of psychosocial problems. Barbara has a particular interest in women's issues and likes to work with individuals and groups.  Barbara attends Christ Episcopal Church in Guilford and serves on the Altar Guild there. 


Tom Ruotolo, M. Div

Thomas A. Ruotolo began Shoreline Christian Counseling in 1987 and served as its Director until 2002.  He received his B.A. from UNC at Chapel Hill and a Master's of Divinity and a Certificate in Counseling from Columbia Bible Seminary. He has been in pastoral ministry for 21 years and been a pastoral counselor since the past 17 years.  Currently, he also is Vice President of International Ministries for Global Awakening, the President of Southern CT Christian Network and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.


Monica Cretella, LCSW

Monica Cretella, a graduate in 1990 from Vanderbilt University, practiced many years as a licensed massage therapist in southern CT before pursuing a degree in clinical social work.  With the goal of learning to help her clients with the psychological aspects of de-stressing, she graduated in 1997 with a Master's degree in clinical social work from Southern CT State University and has maintained a private practice while raising her four children. Monica's work focuses on bringing health to the body, mind, and spirit by teaching biblical principles and coaching clients into holy living.  She also has worked in an acute psychiatric hospital and is experienced in providing cognitive therapy for anxiety and depression. Additionally, she has extensive experience in counseling caregivers with end of life issues. With a strong passion to see whole marriages in the church body, she endeavors to help heal broken marriages through improved communication. She is a member of Saint Georges' parish in Guilford.


Paula Inglese, MSW

Paula Inglese earned her bachelors degree in social work from New York University followed by a masters degree in social work, graduating summa cum laude, from Fordham University in New York City. Having spent many years in her own business, Paula brings  compassion and life experience to her profession. She has experience working with crisis intervention, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and other psychosocial issues, with a strong interest in couples and marital counseling.  Paula loves helping people and believes that with God all things are possible. Paula attends church at Community Baptist Church in Branford, Connecticut.
